LA Wilder Hikes - Icicle Gorge Trail October 5, 2008
Today Cindy, Carol, Jean, Kathy, Merrianne and I hiked the Icicle Gorge trail starting from where the road is blocked from the landslide. It was a little chilly, but beautiful and no rain. The sun came out on occasion illuminating the gorgeous fall colors on the leaves. I had hoped that since we finally got some rain that we would see a lot of mushrooms and boy, I was not disappointed! A huge variety of mushrooms and all the wonderful ues of reds, oranges, yellows, and greens made for a fantastic day. We couldn't have asked for a better show of fall!
